then right-clicked and created a new link to the xxxxxx/298610 directory. So I found the one mentioned in your post above (remote) and copied the files over. The directory that I found using "Browse local files" only had a "local" directory. Symbolic links are like shortcuts that programs see as directories, but to the programs it's like the files actually exist at the linked location even when they do not. I use this on Windows for steam games that do not support cloud saves: using Window's version of symbolic links "mklink /D " where I keep the files in OneDrive. Then the files can exist anywhere but can be accessed from multiple locations (while still only being one instance of the files). If so, this might work:Create a symbolic link where the saves should load from "./steam/userdata//298610/remote/SaveGames" targeted at the location where the save files are actually located. Steam deck is linux or some unix based OS right? To be clear I don't have a steam deck, but the below helped another steam deck user on discord (I forgot to ask where he found the "remote" directory): Hi, well sadly we do not support steam deck (at least for now), I am aware that saves are stored into incorrect folder in there (basically same issue is on proton which we do not support as well), but i do not know of any plans to make support for these platform in nearing months.
